Prof. Dr. Markus Langer

Leiter der Abteilung Arbeits- und Organisationspsychologie

I am conducting research at the interface of psychology and computer science. I integrate theoretical foundations and empirical approaches from work psychology and human factors with insights from the area of human-computer interaction and artificial intelligence. I work in collaborations with computer scientists, philosophers, and legal scholars because I am convinced that only by integrating interdisciplinary perspective, it is possible to advance our understanding of how to optimize the design of workplaces where humans and artificial systems collaborate. I thus also try to publish not just in psychological journals but also in computer science and in interdisciplinary outlets. I am eager to contribute to a more interdisciplinary research landscape.
