In our lab, and in collaboration with other groups, we are employing different methods to pursue our research questions
- analysis of hormones from saliva and blood (e.g. cortisol, testosteron, oxytocin, vasopressin)
- DNA extraction and assessment of genetic variation (single nucleotide polymorphisms, repeat polymorphisms)
- Gene expression (mRNA quantification with RT-PCR, genome-wide transcription profiling)
