Junior Research Group: Prospective Mental Imagery in Depression (PRO-MIND)

The primary goal of our research group is to gain a better understanding of the mechanisms that contribute to the development and maintenance of depression and to develop novel, innovative, psychological interventions targeting motivational and behavioural aspects of depression.

Specifically, we are interested in the relationship between prospective mental imagery and reward-motivated behaviours in depression.

We use a multitude of methods and measures in our research, including cognitive tasks, eye tracking and brain imaging (fMRI).

Our research group is gratefully supported by the Sofja Kovalevskaja Award from the Alexander von Humboldt Foundation and the German Federal Ministry for Education and Research.
